Management Committee

The Management Committee is made up of representatives from other organisations in the area as follows - Age Concern; Coalition for people with disabilities; and the Calderdale Carers Project.

There are also up to 10 places for co-opted members. Co-opted members are people who have an interest in the work of the organisation but who do not represent another organisation.

We are always on the look out for new members and we are particularly interested in recruiting people with disabilities from our client group. At the moment we are also looking to recruit more women members and from ethnic minority communities. Please let us know if you are interested. We are pleased to report that three new members have recently joined us they are Patrick Donaldson; Lynda Lootes and Jackie Tetley.

We aim to have a Management Committee whereby the majority of the members are people with disabilities.

The Management Committee meets every two months and sub-committees (Personnel/Fundraising etc...) meet when required.
