The Data Protection Act 1998 requires us to obtain your consent to keep information about your case.
We keep case notes as a record of the advice and information we give to you whenever you contact us.
Case notes are destroyed after 6 years from the date of the last contact.
We do not give out any information about you to any other organisation or individual without your permission.
DART holds the Advice Quality Standard ,our last audit was carried out in October 2011 when we acheived the Advice Service Alliance Standard for Advice with Casework in the following categories:

As part of the audit process to establish if we meet the requirements, the auditor may wish to read your case notes. Again, we will need your permission to do this.
